Step 1 — Tour, group, and scene settings

by Space Tour

Scene, Group, and Tour Settings

In Space Tour, each scene, each group, and the tour itself has its own set of settings.

These options are available on paid plans only and allow you to fully control the tour structure, visual style, and interface behavior.

Scene Settings

When you hover over (or tap on) a scene in the left panel, a settings icon appears. Click it to open the scene parameters.

Here you can:

  • Set the scene as Main Scene — this scene will open first when the tour loads. If no main scene is selected, Space Tour automatically uses the first scene in the list.
  • Rename the scene.
  • Toggle Show Scene Title — when disabled, the scene title under the compass is hidden.

Night Mode

In the Night tab, you can upload a night panorama.

Day and night panoramas are combined into a single scene and share the same hotspots and polygons, so both images must be captured from the exact same position.

Map Positioning

Below, you’ll find Google Maps and Apple Maps tabs.

These allow you to link the scene to an exact geographic location on the map.

After making changes, be sure to click Apply — otherwise, your progress will not be saved.

The Delete button permanently removes the scene.

Tour Settings (Global)

Click the gear icon next to the Publish button to open the global tour settings.

General

  • Change the tour name (it is also used in the URL).If you enter non-Latin characters, they are automatically transliterated.
  • Disable the Space Tour logo or upload your own.Your logo appears in the top-left corner and in the loading screen.

Appearance

  • Choose between LightDark, or Glass themes.
  • Adjust interface corner rounding.
  • Select a font and accent color (available on Plus plans and higher).

In the Loading Screen section, you can:

  • Set a custom title (separate from the URL),
  • Specify yourself as the tour creator,
  • Add a second logo (Pro plan only).

Advanced

This section allows you to control interface elements:

  • Show or hide standard UI buttons (all are enabled by default).

A key feature here is the Share button.

It generates a link not to the tour homepage, but to a specific scene with its exact camera position.

This is useful when you want to share a precise viewpoint — for example, a bedroom instead of the living room.

On mobile devices, the interface automatically simplifies:

most auxiliary elements are hidden, leaving only the Hide Interface button so the panorama fills the screen.

Contacts

You can configure a dedicated Contact Button displayed inside the tour.

Available fields:

  • Button label
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Website
  • Telegram
  • WhatsApp

All fields except email are clickable.

Input format is flexible — Space Tour automatically processes links and phone numbers correctly.

Scripts & Integrations

Google Tag

You can paste the full HTML tracking code (without comments).

Important:

Google Tag works correctly only when the tour is hosted on your own domain, not on the Space Tour domain.

Available on the Pro plan, this section allows you to embed:

  • analytics tools,
  • live chats,
  • third-party JS scripts.

Meta Fields

The Title and Description meta fields control how your tour link appears in messengers and social networks.

Group Settings

When you hover over (or tap on) a group, the settings icon appears.

Here you can:

  • Rename the group.
  • Enable or disable the Compass for this specific group.

We recommend keeping the compass enabled while building the tour — it’s required for setting north orientation and initial camera direction.

Before publishing, you can safely hide it — all configured parameters will remain intact.

Other group options — group iconvertical navigation, and navigation inclusion — are covered separately in the navigation lesson:
